I've bought their stuff for years, but usually limited to Pecan Praline cones.

Who has some experience with their extensive menu and what is KILLER?

Never have received any bad products from them. Rib eyes are great but a little high.

The icecream is good stuff.

But they got all kinds of goodies.

Especially good is the fish sticks. They're actual sticks of fish fillet (not minced crap) with a very light and tasty breading. They're the perfect size. Best fish sticks by far of anywhere. They also come in squares for homemade Fillet o' Fish sandwiches.

So, recommended from me are the fish sticks and/or squares.

their frozen pizzas are pretty good.

they have these frozen avavodo halves which make it very easy to make guacamole with.

oh, and their chicken cordon bleu is good too.

I think my wife is giving the "whose your daddy" to the schwans man. I hope we are getting a discount.

Their little breads are a time saver when entertaining, but I only get them during the holidays, as they are quite pricey for my budget. I serve the cranberry/orange on Christmas morning, as well as my breakfast casserole. That keeps people going until dinner is served. :)

Easier? How long does it take to cut an avacado in half? 5 seconds?

I'm just reporting what I'm told. I am not the guacamole maker.

Yeah, the avocado halves are good, they come with all the ingredients in the package, you just thaw and mash in the package, then squeeze it into a bowl. It is just slightly spicy too, so its not just plain guac.

The pizza's are good for frozen pizza, I agree with that also...lots of toppings.

Yeah, but then you have to remove the pit and by then you're talking 10 - 14 seconds and who has that kind of time?

The beef pot pie is great. Made me convert from chicken pot pies. The Marie Callender stuff in the store doesn't even compare.

Has anyone tried their egg rolls?

I have tried the egg rolls, and I can vouch for them. Thumbs up.

Also recommend the oven-ready shrimp (it makes great sandwiches). Another vote for the frozen pizzas. And we make sure we keep boxes of the frozen chicken breasts on hand.

Oh...don't forget...the 5-cheese garlic bread RMFO. I rarely cook Italian these days without some.

Yeah, some of their stuff is pricey but quality-wise it kicks the azz of any supermarket. The delivery dude shows up twice a month and we always buy a few things at least. There are 2 nights a week that we can't cook due to scheduling and Schwan's is dinner, man.
