its funny that liberals are all about finding the "real source" of somebody's problems (i.e. scapegoat)...yet when the other side uses it, its not ok

i think we need to take a head count of both liberals and conservatives who think there is any valid excuse for an adult to pursue a child.

(if foley- or anyone- was molested as a kid, i feel bad for them and the guilty party should face criminal charges. however, i do not feel bad for the adult who would use this as an excuse to do or attempt to do the same thing.)

If Foley had sex with a page in the District of Columbia, it wouldn't be a crime. In the capital, the age of consent is 16, as it is in many states. That, coincidentally, is the minimum age to be a page.

not that anyone's still talking about the original story anymore, but you guys do realize that most Europeans don't have the same hangups about nudity that Americans do, right? I mean, bathing, swimming, etc. nude with other people is pretty normal a lot of places in Europe.

i lived in europe and can vouch for the relaxed stance on nudity, hell the commercials have nudity in them

but i think in any country....a priest taking a young altar boy into a nude steam bath...yeah.....the priest can spin that however he wants

its generally a bad idea
