In 14 years of living here in South Florida, I have never had any problem with any law enforcement officer whatsoever. Not even a parking ticket.

They leave people alone.

Only under threat of dereliction of duty, I'm guessing, is when they move in and take a drunken fighting sumbitch out of the Orange Bowl and give him/her a comfy place for the night in the Miami Dade County lockup.

That whole thing was ugly and kudo's to the cops for stepping in and beating the sh!t out of folks who deserved it. Every once in a while, a little police aggressiveness is needed and appreciated.

Some folks need killin'. And some folks need having the hell beat out of them in football stadiums.
