NORMAN — Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson will meet the
media at a press conference at 1:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday.

The press conference will be a free, live webcast on SoonerSports.com
for fans and interested media.

Please refresh your screen at 1:30 p.m. to view the active link.

MEDIA: We do not anticipate any major announcements during this
session. This media opportunity is simply being offered in response to
numerous requests to speak with Adrian.

It says right on the front of the website that it is free. Then it says it is Premium content. WTF?

i do not think free means what you think it means. :D

i'd subscribe but by the time i get done with the rigamarol i'd miss a lot of it. so i'll just miss all of it. :mad:

well, nothing major. just says he's out 4 to 6 weeks. will still come to practices, team meetings, etc. says he's a fast healer. no one asked him about future plans, and he didn't volunteer.

he was visibly and audibly upset, but handled himself very well. got a big smile when he talked about his pop at the game. that's pretty much it. oh, and had good things to say about the team.

It occurred to me while he was speaking, he's really young. Good to see these kids without a helmet every once in a while to remind us they are just that, kids. He seemed sad, but positive.

I got the feeling that he won't be back as he was talking about the bowl game. It seemed like he said everything about playing with the team again --- leaving off- for the last time.
