A US casino mogul has pulled out of a deal to sell his Picasso painting for a record $139m (£74m) after accidentally elbowing a hole in the middle.

Las Vegas magnate Steve Wynn was showing Le Reve (The Dream) to guests at his office in Las Vegas last month.

Mr Wynn, who has retinitis pigmentosa, an eye disease affecting peripheral vision, tore a coin-sized hole.

He will now keep the painting, which he bought in 1997 for $48.4m, and repair it, his spokeswoman said........

Mr Wynn, known for gesturing with hands while speaking, was showing the painting at his office at Wynn Las Vegas when he struck it with his right elbow, spokeswoman Denise Randazzo said.

I had no idea Pic's paintings were so valuable. We're lucky to have such a rich & famous guy here as a poster.

I like this story much better than the one posted yesterday. This one doesn't describe how great the steaks are at Wynn's resteraunt, or how someone else has the best key lime pie in the world, all while trying to simply tell you "an idiot I know put his elbow through a Picasso painting".

Only problem is, this story doesn't tell you how imaculate this hole that Mr. Wynn put in the painting was. How it was the absolute best hole EVAR put into a painting, and it was done by none other than Mr. Wynn. It doesn't tell you about how many would pay good money to have Mr. Wynn put a hole in one of their Picasso paintings, just because he is Mr. Wynn. Just because Mr. Wynn has the best steaks in this world at Mr. Wynn's resteraunt, and that if Picasso had been alive to see Mr. Wynn put a hole in one of his paintings that Picasso wouldn't be mad at Mr. Wynn, but rather would thank Mr. Wynn for putting his Mr. Wynn touch on his fine art work...And then Picasso would have Mr. Wynn put his signature just beside his on the painting, that way everyone would know Mr. Wynn had a hand (or an elbow) in this fine piece of art. Because everyone knows Mr. Wynn is God.

I can't ever get the stupid ball through the windmill on the first try, it screws me every time.
