So yeah, those of you paying attention know that I brought home a new kitten a couple of weeks ago. The newby-Ted MacDuff-has been getting along famously with the older one, Steve.

Unfortunately, the newby brought home Feline Upper Respiratory Syndrome from the pound. Which means that Steve has it now. Which means that Steve is drooling and sneezing all over the house.

He'll be fine-the vet checked him out and he's hydrated and his stomach has food in it-but damn he looks miserable.

I think Ted and Steve are quite possibly the coolest cat names evar. I had an old friend with a Steve cat. Steve cat was reportedly quite cool. Hopefully they will both recover soon and continue to spread goodness and joy (read: take naps all day and chew on your toothbrush).

Commonly referred to as FURS, as in, my cat has FURS. If they get really sick and you have to put them out of their misery, I know of a Principal who will do the job. Dean will do it too.

Is your old friend named Stephanie by any chance? I internet-know a girl from Ada named Stephanie with a cat named Steve.
