I ordered my wedding dress this weekend :D

So it was a tough choice between the following:

but I finally decided on this

Ok just kidding, but I really did order my wedding dress in Dallas this weekend, but obviously I can't show it and I'm pretty sure no one cares.

Keep it a secret. It is driving my fiance nuts that I'm not trying to find out what her dress looks like (even though she doesn't want me to know). Women. ;)

She took pictures and asked if she should hide the memory card so I won't be tempted to look at them. I told her she could print them out and keep them on her dresser and I wouldn't look. I'd rather be suprised.

and I have way to many posts in a thread titled "hey ladies..."

I thought it was just bad luck for the groom to see the bride in her dress before the wedding... I didn't know they weren't supposed to see the dress at all. Do most people do that--keep it a secret?

Yeah, it's only bad luck to see the bride in the dress. I think he can see the dress without you in it. Keeping that a secret will be hard... I had thought it was only on the wedding day that the groom wasn't supposed to see her, but I was corrected by badger's mom. :D

Meh, as long as she's happy, I could care less. Happiness is more beautiful than any dress.

I'm just so excited to be done. I was retarded and went to trunk shows which means the only dresses that are there are the size zeros (or in wedding dresses that makes you a size 6) that models wore down the runways.

So yeah I had zero self esteem after squeezing into those dresses. Hey I may not be as tiny as those skinny *** models but my fat *** was able to at least get the damn dresses on.

Oh and don't even get me started about how they just do not make dresses that hold the "girls" in.

Again, just so glad the whole ordeal is over and I don't have to jack with it anymore.

When i was 3 or 4 my cousin got married and I got dragged along with her, my aunt, and my mom when they went dress shopping. I was not interested AT ALL. :D

ironically, in a couple of hours i have to head to a dress shop in OKC for a dress fitting because i'm a bride's maid at a friend's wedding in November.

I agree with the people who've seen the dress--it's gorgeous!

I'm happy you and baldy are hooking up. But please take some advice. Don't waste a ****pot of $$ on your dress/wedding. Take all the $$ you were gonna spend and go to Tahiti or something. Or buy a new trailer house. Next to funerals, weddings are the biggest waste of jack. EVAR.

Also, I will have you know that we are getting a big ole house in Norman. So I will no longer will be trailer trash, but I'm still keeping my land in hopes that one day I can get baldy back down this way.
