I imagine the only way he gets invited is if he is one of the top four or five in voting. I don't think that is unlikely. He has proven himself for half a season as well as over the last three years. I don't think he should actually win the thing necessarily. I don't think that would be fair to those who are able to finish the year. But I do think he has proven himself to be one of the top four or five players in the nation this year, injury not withstanding.
He may not want to go to a presentation he probably has no shot of winning, but it would be a nice way to recognize that he had earned a right to be there if it wasn't for the injury.
