and we are in the middle of a typhoon-monsoon-hurricane thunderstorm.
What positives can we take from a loss like AD?
Well, for one, we can be glad it wasn't Thompson. We would be royally screwed if Paul had went down.
And I know that AD makes up 91% of our rushing yards, BUT, if PT isn't out there making throws and plays for us, we very well could have lost to UAB and UW.
Now, is AP and Gute even close to AD? No. Will Mossis Madu be the next Quentin Griffin? Who knows. But I do know this, we went to a NC w/out the stellar AD, and I think Paul will do OU a good enough job down the stretch to allow us to win out. Worst case, we lose 1 road game.
I think all things considered, we can still have that successful season and go to the Cotton, Gator, or Alamo Bowl.
But I do have to send out condolensces to AD and his family. Here's hoping for the best for you kid and with some luck you can hopefully avoid the Lions in the draft! BOOMER SOONER AD!!!
