From Go Pokes:

Re: AD
the guy was showboating, broke his own collar bone. he was to score a TD, jumped into the end zone, landed on his own shoulder and broke it.

typical show boat!!!

Looks like we'll have the best AD in the state for the rest of the season . . .

I know that's wrong, but had to say it . . .

And from a horns fan from Oklahoma:

Stoops just killed the golden goose
OU loses out including colorado

F**k everyone that piles on at this point.

This and the aTm thread (and I'm sure the whornfans have one or a billion posts on this) just confirms what I've thought about those collective fan bases.

The net effect also seems to be the weeding out of the ********* sooner "fans" on this board.

To be fair, I can show you post from here that say the exact same thing. Morons aren't only in orange ;)

There was a thread like that on orange power. Basicly the reason the guy made the thread was because of heard heard someone else say he was showboating. After that, everyone disagreed with him and he recounted his opinion. Also, take note of the replies. They are pretty favorable toward Peterson.

Well, us ou fans can say that as long as we beat em. After losing AD and osu learning how great Bowman is, I'm worried.

they suck. they lost to a team that was stroked by a Louisiana directional school.
oSu fans are just happy because AD has averaged 279 yards per game on them.

they would also rejoice if anyone associated with OU was injured, arrested, killed, only had 3 teeth like most of them, etc..

Wait a minute.... Aren't they ranked number one in the nation? Isn't their quarterback the leading contender for the Heisman? Didn't they win the BCS championship in 2002 over Miami? OSU is pretty damned good this year...

OH.. wait....

(There's only one OSU and they play in Columbus, Ohio. And don't give me that tOSU nonsense. That is a very recent vintage. Go to any sports bar in any state other than Oklahoma, say OSU and people will immediately think of the Buckeyes.)

you mean Bowman who ran wild on the below mediocre Kansas secondary? You mean the Bowman who is going to lose to A&M this week? Or do you mean the Bowman who will be demolished by Reggie Smith and Nick Harris?

agreed, Okie State is like the kid brother 7 years younger than you that won't let you leave the house with your girlfriend. No matter how much money Boone throws at them, or how many Kansas' they beat, they will always and forever be mediocre and always and forever be below OU.

Kinda like when you hear UT people think of Tennessee (outside of the Republic of Texas)

Well, I wouldn't go that far. Our defense hasn't been that good against anyone.

the Poke's are ready to proclaim Bowman god after he played good against a terrible KU team. Pokie's won't win more than 1 other game the rest of the season, and that is probably against Baylor.

We held MTSU under 100 yards and held texass to 232 yards.

But Texas sucks!!! I mean I doubt Texas wins another game.

P.S. My hatred of OsU fans can't be effected by anything they say on message boards, their fans are bad enough in person(the bad ones anyway)

shut up Troll.

the hell would you know about the defensive side of football? you being an oSu fan and all. you didn't have defense when you DID have defense back in the day.

10/16/2006, 02:41 PM
Ok, we held the all mighty MTSU down and Texas to what...28 points? Seriously, our defense hasn't been good enough to be a top team.

UAB - 17 points, 304 yards
Wash - 20 points, 384 yards
Oregon - 34 points, 506 yards
MTSU - 0 points, 95 yards
Texas - 28 points, 232 yards
ISU - 9 points, 238 yards

No offense, but without Peterson keeping the offense on the field longer, the d will get tired and will give up even more. I guess I'm the only one that's worried.

yes it has. a top 5 team? no but good enough to be a top team.

I hope AD's bones heal faster and he's rushing for 200+ against the sheephumpers.

Calmus' broken leg bone was supposed to keep him out of the '99 osu game and he still played.

It's wishful thinking, but it'd be great if AD were able to get healthy in time to run all over those asswipes who are currently taking pleasure in his injury.

he would get 200 plus against them if he had a broke leg much less a collar bone

If you are evaluating defense, you can't add in points scored by the opposing defense. Texas 21, ISU 7. Over the past 3 games that is an average of 9points, 188 yards. No one left on the schedule is as good as Oregon and the defense has shown improvement.

orange doesn't rhyme with anything. it's annoying like that.

annoying like aggies, especially aggies that wear orange and orange alone all day, every day.

orange is just wrong.
