With AD out, the effect of the run game is hit hard obviously. However, will KW rotate about 3 different runningbacks? Will this change the way we run OUr offense and go back to a pass-oriented offense and years to come?

I think it means our offense will be forced to be less predictable.

The next biggest threat is now PT passing the ball. Defenses should focus on pass coverage now. PT needs to be careful with the ball. Our running game should still be productive because of this.
Colorado does seem to have a good defense. So we need to be prepared next week.

I think K. Wilson will rotate 2 backs. Gutierrez and Patrick will probably run the rotation unless one of them stands out enough to be the 'man'.

I certainly hope KW is joking!
"We won't make any rash decisions," offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson said. "I don't think the offense is going to change dramatically."]http://www.soonerfans.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif we don't change it up, and if the georgia game is any indication, colorado will embarrass us at homecoming

not to mention the sheep. I don't know what happened in the 2nd half, but the aggies put up 42 after halftime on the fighting manginas.

we cough that game up next week and bob stoops could easily end up with his 1st losing season. he'd better light a fire under these assistants to think outside the box. at missouri, at aTm, at baylor (they're looking good starting out against texas), at okie state (42 points in the 2nd half against kansas). I don't know what happened to tech the last 2 weeks scoring 21 last week and 6 against colorado. the tech QB goes 26 for 39 for 236 yards, today, and the buffs hold them to 6 points-??? sheesh. it really sounds like hawkins is doing some coaching. crosby hit 2 from over 50 today and they had a 74 yard TD run called back (stepped OB) and held tech scoreless for 3 quarters. colorado vs tech recap (http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/gamecenter/recap/NCAAF_20061014_TXTECH@CO)

AD's presence in the backfield opened up our aerial opportunities. Without having to stack the box, defenses can feel less pressure of having to be one dimensional.
