SETTING THE STAGE: The Sooners beat Weber State last night by a score of 9-3 in the second of two games this weekend…The Wildcats will travel to Oklahoma to play a pair of games against OU in January…The Sooners are now 3-2-2 all-time against Weber State and 1-1-1 against the Wildcats in games played in Ogden.

OKLAHOMA NOTES: Sooners forwards Adrian Borchgrevink, Luke Rose and Justin Hall each scored two goals in last night’s contest…Borchgrevink leads the Sooners in goals with 11 on the season…Forward Owen Brewer had three assists in last night’s game…Kyle Allan received a game misconduct just 12 seconds into last night’s game on a checking from behind major but is eligible to play tonight…Oklahoma has a 33-12-1 all-time record in games played on Saturday night and an 8-5-1 all-time record when those games are on the road…OU was 3 of 10 with the man advantage last night.

WEBER STATE NOTES: Weber State was just 1 of 9 on the power play last night…Goaltender Kyle Gover stopped 29 of Oklahoma’s 38 shots…The Wildcats could not capitalize on a five-minute power play due to Kyle Allan’s major penalty just :12 into yesterday’s game…Weber State forward John VanderVelpen was a junior hockey teammate of Sooners defenseman Greg Smith…Forward Michael Spawton scored his team-leading third goal of the season in yesterday’s contest…The Weber County Ice Sheet was home to the curling competition in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
