Reverse the return and send address and mail without a stamp. Instead of the letter being returned to you it will be returned to whomever you wanted the letter sent to in the first place...postage free!

Not nearly sophisticated as your campaign fund embezzling scheme... but OK. ;)

Get out of my head! I'm fascinated by this seemingly giant loophole in the system. I imagine if the mail originates in the "destination" zip code it will be returned postage due--if the "sender" is in Oklahoma but the letter is picked up at a mail box in Waco they might catch on. However, I've always wanted to try this.

You'd be easy to track down putting your address in the recipient address area...

then put the recipient's name in both the sender and reciever spots. :P

Man, that would throw them for a loop. Put two random addresses on there with no postage. Then stomp around on it to make it look like it'd been well-travelled.

This thread needs a non-homocidal postal worker to chime in.

Is now a good time to give my thoughts on eliminating the USPS entirely and allow the market to take over?

i like to take the spam mail i get and mail their envelopes back to them.......i used to put coupons in there.....you never know when the guy in the chase visa mail room might need a diaper coupon

but the only way for them to pay for the postage they've outlaid is to send those envelopes back!
