I'll take the rest of the country and the points.

Players from texas may be good, but I dont think they could regularly beat the combined best players from California, Florida, and Ohio.

WEAK!!! So the way I read this, a kid that graduates from a Texas HS and goes out of the state for college ball, he would be on the Texas team because he has "Texas Ties".

Isn't the Oil Bowl (OK HS players vs. TX HS players) a fairly even series? I don't see how this could possibly be close in talent.

Anyone worth his salt probably isn't playing in this anyway. Think AD would risk injury to play in this? I would assume not.

Very few of the best Texas players play in any of those inter-state "bowls"

Actually...it could be a pretty interesting game. Numbers wise, it's a mismatch...but you figure Texas has 10 1A teams and 5 1AA teams....and who the out of state collegiate players are would be even more interesting...

Im gonna research and see what a possible lineup could be...

This game lost its credibility when I read that it:

will be held Feb. 2 at the Sun Bowl and will be televised live on CSTV.

Texas sux!To be more accurate UT sucks.If the state sucks why are 65% of our players from there?Texas is arrogant to the point of hubris I grant you but sucks,I don't think so.I seperate UT from Texas in my judgement as many alumni,players and fans ARE from Texas.

i prefer to think of the OU alumni/fans/players as being cleansed of their Texassness ;)
