The Sooners' bad mojo on Saturday may not have been solely due to the lack of anti-Texas shirts at the game.
The night before the game my wife went to get the ingredients for the chili she makes every gameday. She got everything...except the stew meat. Black beans, Rotel, everything's there, but no GD stew meat. (The Lurker can attest to the caliber of this mf'ing chili, let me tell ya.) Anyway, I drove back and got the meat. Crisis averted, right?
Wrong, biznachos.
Just minutes before the game, I'm walking through the kitchen and my wife and son are playing with some sort of lego-man he got in a happy meal. As I'm walking by I hear her say: "see, you can hook 'em together...here, son, hook 'em like this..."
I ****e you not. The rest...well, you know what happened. By the time that mojo drifted down I-35 things were not pretty.
I just had to tell someone. I'm sorry.
