I watched a house flipping show one night where the "house talked to her" it was crazy. I think at the last update she still hadn't sold the house and was actually about to start losing money on it.

Exactly. I'm willing to do some things myself, when it comes to the car or the home, but I know where my limit is and call someone if it's beyond my skills or I'm going to aggie it up

Everyone thinks that it is easy an a fortune maker. It is nice to see some people fail. The host is a hard @ss to some of the noob flippers.

Yeah, I watched one episode where the couple had 5 days to do a month's worth of work to get a turnaround of (maximum) $3000. They also had three young kids, the youngest just over 1. They'd lose money if the project went over by three weeks.

Sounded very risky for very little potential gain. There's a reason why most people never get rich. :)
