NORMAN — Oklahoma's Oct. 21 homecoming game against Colorado has
been set for a 6 p.m., kickoff. The game will be televised live by FOX
Sports Network. It will be a special event as recognition of Prentice
Gautt and the 1956 National Championship team will take place during the
evening.

FSN also has this week's game against Iowa State. The network announced
Monday that the game will be carried in High Definition.

OU's Athletics Ticket Office announced Monday that there is limited
ticket availability for both the Iowa State and Colorado home games over
the next two weeks, as well as the Oct. 28 game at Missouri.

Thanks for that info.

Seeing Gautt and the '56 team being honored will be cool. Some of the all-time Sooner greats were on that team: Jimmy Harris at QB (never lost a game as starting QB), Jerry Tubbs, Tommy McDonald (NFL Hall of Famer)- just to name a few.

Anyone that has not read about the 47 game winning streak, you need to do that as a Sooner fan. There are a few books out there about that era.

Barring any injuries, wouldn't this be a good chance for AD to break the all-time OU rushing record? From what I have seen he only needs 344 yards to break Billy's record. Could be a fun night honoring Prentice
Gautt and the 1956 National Championship team and then have AD break the record. Now I am going to go knock on some wood that we don't have any injuries...

In Tulsa (which totally rules over OKC), I noticed that channel 740 on Cox is now FSN-HD. It's a blank screen now, just says "FSN-HD". I don't know when it's going to be up and running, hopefully by this weekend.

Gary King's book AN AUTUMN REMEMBERED: BUD WILKINSON'S LEGENDARY '56 SOONERS will be on sale at the OU bookstore under the stadium, Sooner FanFest and at the Sooner Club Tailgate on gameday.

The author and some of the players will be available at some of the venues to autograph copies.
