You Italian (specifically Corsican) servant of the Spanish monarchy, raper of cultures, and genocidal mad-man you!:D

I thought this thread was going to be about Metamucil.
The State of Oklahoma has not seen fit to recognize such a great man. Therefore I toil (and occasionally post).

I thought Columbus was Genovese, which would make him Portugese.
Edit: Pardon me, Genoa is part of Italy now, I believe it was Portugese at the time.

It's part of France now, but Corsicans aren't very French.
If you were a good gub'mint employee, you'd be off too! :) :)

I watched a special on Columbus on TLC last year and they seemed to think the real Columbus was not Italian, as that Columbus was the son of a tailor, not from a sailing family, but our Columbus was of Castillian noble birth, possibly the second or third son of a count or something, I am a little bit fuzzy on it now.

I am a gub'mint employee and I didn't get the day off. Of Course the gub'mint I work for happens to be the Pueblo of Sandia and they don't think that highly of Cristobal.
