Notify someone immediately and get the card flagged. Go down to the bank Tuesday and dispute any charges you didn't make. You'll get your money back.

Should I report it lost or stolen?

That's about the only option its giving me.

Yes. Report it stolen. That'll block the number. Once you discover your card number has been compromised, a clock starts ticking.

More charges may come through that have already been authorized, but nothing more will be authorized. It'll suck not having a debit card for a couple of days though.

Does your bank have any branches in grocery stores? In-store branches are usually open on holidays except for Christmas and Thanksgiving.

I was finally able to get through to someone and have the card shutdown. I'll go in on Tuesday to dispute the charges.

I think someone has gotten a hold of my debit card number......

What happened to make you think someone got your card number?

I checked my balance online and there were a couple of holds on my account for purchases I did not make, then when I called BOA the lady was asking me when the last time I used my card was and I told her, she then spouted off about 6 transactions that were made after the last time I used my card.

if you've never listened to me ever before, do it now

file a fraud report with any one of the three credit reporting agencies......you get a 90 day free deal.......any "new account" activity for credit is blocked until they contact you via phone.....you'll have a password that you have to give before any new credit account can be established

it works great

I've already got that, my insurance company's computers were hacked and they gave us all a free year of fraud protection.

Oh and Bank Of America put my money back and did all that cool stuff.
