please explain BCS extra game

Ok explain the extra game. BCS Championship game is for the BCS #1 and #2. the Rose, Suger, Orange, Tostitios, are kinda back to the old conference type matchup.

I guess what i am getting at is that none of the winners of the other 4 games can go to the BCS CG?

conference ties go to bcs bowls.

#1 and #2 go to BCS MNC game (not the fiesta bowl, but at Cardinals new stadium)

So, this extra BCS game doesn't help anything, at all, save for making it a little more friendly for the smaller schools.

I was under the impression this was a plus one system ... but after reading through the BCS website, it's clear it isn't in any shape or form. :\

They knew nd would have two losses and wanted to make sure they made it in, as there were going to be a lot of one loss teams.
