View Full Version : Is there a good place to watch the game at the fair, not in the Stadium?

I have two friends coming down for the game without tickets, but still want to take in the fair action. IS there a beer garden or something that shows the game on a projection screen? I remember hearing about this in the past, wanted to know if it for sure exists so they're not disappointed.

TIA

There's a bar/beer garden on the NW side of the stadium. They'd better get there early.

yeah...there are several large projection screens on the grounds and tv's inside the buildings.

they'd have to be in the back of cop car to miss it. ;)

The name of the place is the old mill inn- it's right across from the base of the big talking jack ***.

Bri is going to freak when he sees that Lisa Loeb is doing an acoustic set (does she do anything else?) on the 15th at the fair.

Is this spoken from personal experience?

If there was indeed a good and just God, then the answer to that question would be, "Yes. Me."

Bud World would be my location of choice if I didn't have a game ticket

I've got two tickets, but about eight friends coming down to D tomorrow. They were wondering this themselves... I've gone to the RRS ever since 1998 with tickets, but I've always heard people at the fair talk about seeing the game, but I just didn't know where. thanks all...

Yeah, we've Been going to the game since ’95 and had to watch it on TV a few times. The only place that is consistently there is the Bud tent and that place has progressively gotten worse each year. In 2004, we had a bunch of FN Hillbilly fans in there that were chain smoking and hoggin the A.C. I wanted to knock the **** out some redneck bitch OU fan that was running her mouth.

Drink liqour at the Old Mill. It kicks the crap out of craptastic bud anyday!! Plus, you don't want to be mistaken for an asshat by drinking a bud light in public.
