Used to be Outdoor Life Network.

It's really scary how much this network reminds me of ESPN from 20 years ago.

You all remember, back when ESPN was about sports and only sports. Back before it had turned into yet another arm of the Disney corporate empire.

Versus shows hockey, rodeo, college football (the MWC Conference), boxing, fishing, hunting, even darts (which is really funny to watch).

I don't think it will ever rival the behemoth that is ESPN, but it's nice to see a pure sports network again.

I like that they've got Gary Bender to do their CFB games. He's always been one of my favorites.

They showed Boise St. That's enough for me to love them.

Their NHL coverage this year is miles beyond what it was last year.

Agreed, but I didn't like the sideline reporting at the Stars game last night, especially when the Avalanche G.M. and an injured Avs player were being interviewed in the press box, no doubt distracting some members of the working press. For some reason, sideline reporting at hockey games doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
