Anyone know of Sooner fans gathering in London or the greater continental europe (where I might have a cheap flight to) to watch the game?

I know that the Texas Ex's are watching the game at the Sportscafe, but it gets tiring beating in a dozen whorn fan skulls by myself.

Where is the Sportscafe in London? I think that it would add to the enjoyment of the game to get to see some Shorthorns crying after the loss.

80 Haymarket, London, SW1Y 4TE - 020 7839 8300

It's near the Piccadilly Circus tube stop.

Here is their website: http://www.thesportscafe.net/locationdetail.cfm

It looks like I'll prolly be out of town though... I have OU gear to spare if you need it. :)

I think I've been to this place for a Superbowl. Not a bad spot. Won't be able to make it this year, but I'll call and find out if they are actually showing the game.

Ok gave them a call! They're are showing the game. Man I'd love to be around some other fans.... It's a bit last minute for me to plan something. I've actually got a visitor coming in from out of the country (ironically they will be taking the train in from London). Definitely give a report on when you get back online if this is where you end up.

I will be in Cologne, Germany as it turns out. The call is into JOE CHAMPS to see if they are showing the game.

Nole, Flak, my apologies for raising the alarm and then not being there. Another weekend, yes?

Maybe you should just come back to civilization. Europeans aren't gonna understand *real* football anyway ;)

Hurry home, man. . .don't let the socialists over there rub off on you. . .unless she's *really* attractive.

Just found out that NASN is NOT showing the game. This sucks. I guess i will have to sign up for soonersports.com and watch the game later.

:(

I made my bed, now I lay in it.

Yeah I was pretty surprised and disappointed by this as well. NASN has really kind of gone downhill as far as College Football is concerned. Too bad considering that they have effectively expanded their channels (with Sentanta). You'd think they'd be able to show more, but they show less.

Yep, ESPN on-line works, but it's $21.95 for a postage-stamp sized screen on your PC. Still, a lot better than listening to the radio feed over Yahoo.

NASN will be getting an e-mail about this.

I'll be at the palace with the Queen watching the game. They have a nice TV there but I hate having to explain everything to Charlie. "By jove, how do they get their ears in those thight helmets?";)
