It was some extensive research, but I'm proud to do my part.

So, can we go ahead and make rings for it?

that might create too much controversialism

I wonder why SI or ESPN never caught the trend.

I can see it now...

Reggie Smith takes the snap from center, option left, pitches to Rufus, RUFUS has the corner, great block by WR Peterson, down the sideline......TOUCHDOWN OKLAHOMA!

Oh, wait hold on a minute, 7 flags on the ground.

That center is Thompson and he snapped the ball at the wrong time, and they've got Messner for illegal motion.

We're lucky we got the touchdown at all, Wolfe wasn't able to close the gap at left tackle.

Incorrect extrapolation on your part starting in 1999, correction follows...
1999 4-7
2000 3-8
2001 2-9
2003 1-10
2004 0-11
2005 -1 - 12?

Blake's Sooners peaked in 1998 and would not have recruited Josh Heupel for 1999. Therefore, consecutive losing seasons probably would have begun affecting recruiting. With the coaching ability of a labotomized, Canadian dope-smoker, the losses would mount yearly until 2005.

I think you are giving him too much credit? Who would we have beaten in 2005 with Blake as the coach? Seriously.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have beaten Tulsa last year.

My college football calculator says we will win 2 national titles back-to-back around 2010.
