Over 5000 people showed up for Deputy Matthew William's funeral today.
The procession to the cemetary took over two hours to traverse the 10 miles.
The family's limo arrived at the cemetary over an hour before the last cars actually left the church parking lot.
K-9 deputies from across the country attended the funeral. From as far away as Minnesota LEO's came to pay their respects to a fellow officer.
A quote from a fellow Polk County Sheriff and best friend to Williams "A man remembered never, ever dies".
Deputy Williams and his K-9 partner Diogi were buried together this evening in Auburndale, Florida
Rest In Peace Deputy Williams.
