Even though it was a loss, Demond Parker's 291 yards on 31 carries was one of the most impressive RRS performances I have seen...Without a couple of runs being called back(which was the staple of the blake era-one step forward-two steps back), he would have finished with near 400 yards rushing in that game..

Q's six TD's was pretty insane.

what was insane was that he didnt even have 100 yards on the ground

De'mond Parker's performance in 1997 was outstanding and watching in the Cotton Bowl was quite a sight to see. But we didn't win that game and I remember that one hurt badly. I felt terrible for De'mond in that one. So I can't put that as a favorite. But Quentin Griffin's 6 touchdowns against Texas in my personal favorite OU/Texas game was very exciting as well and we got the win as you all know.;)

5. Boz and the 1985 wall
4. Jason White thrown into the fire and complementing Superman's classic performance
3. Mark Clayton in 2003, WR performance is very tough and you run all day long, MC was very impressive with his catches and his YAC's.
2. Speaking of Running All Day, AD 2004.
1. Paul Thompson beating the snot out of the National Champs in 2006, man that was great!!!

Demond and Ricky Williams combined for the most impressive display of rushing the football I have ever witnessed in person, win or lose.

Mike Gaddis was probably on his way to a 300-yard game in 1989 when he blew out his knee early in the third quarter. He had 130 yards at the time, and looked to be on his way to a cross-country touchdown. Then, he planted on that sucky artificial turf to juke the safety, and went down like he was shot. No one touched him. Very sad. We wound up losing, 28-24.

J-Dub in '03 was none too shabby. 17-21 for 290 yards, 3 TD's no picks in 3 quarters + 1 play. Also, it was just one play, but I'll never forget Michael Thompson stripping that poor sap butt nekkid & recovering the fumble himself in '00.

in no particular order...

Roy in '01...he couldn't be stopped.

Gundy finally getting a win in '93.

James Allen in '96.

Adrian's 225 in '04.

also...the highlights of Dupree as a frosh in '82 are pretty awesome.

I was always impressed w/ Major until he got mind****ed...

hated watching Peter Gardere and still haven't quite got over Rasheed's fumble in '92 or R.D.'s missed FG in '90....

I thought the best back on the field in '97 wasn't an eventual Heisman winner...

But one of my favorite performances came from TFRW in '03...he'd been talkin' a lot about how amazing their receiving corps was before the game...he turned to all of us and flashed horns up after his first catch of the day went for a 1st down...he was very cocky....before the day was over, he'd crawled around on the ground like a beaten dog, engaged in a screaming match w/ his coaches and teammates, and then hung his head for over an hour.

Later that night The Legend capped off his legendary performance in an interview by saying, "I dunno, man. They're not better than us.....they're just not."

Me and some friends burst out laughing and then cheers'd to witnessing the first game in history decided by 52 points between two "equal" teams. Good times...

Thanks, Roy.

1996 - First time in 7 trips I walked out of the Cotton Bowl a winner. Jackson's punt return combined with James Allen turning into Superman in the final quarter and OT was awesome. First OU OT game. First win of the season that year which made it all the more unexpected. Plus, I bought my ticket for $20 outside the gate that day.

i believe roy equalled the stupidity of that quote with the "it's stupid how close we were to scoring 40" points after detroit hung up 6 in week 1 this year.
