for some reason i liked their first album. i tried to hate it but i couldn't. they kind of sound like The Cure on some of their songs.
but the singer's 'stache has got to go.

Absolutely the worst album ever. One good song, that's it.

Don't waste your time unless you get it for free.

I heard a number of their new songs and did not like them. It seems they just mailed it in. It'll probably sell well.

not very good at all. you never know what to expect out of a band from their debut album to their second.

alot of it sounds like the cars/queen/meatloaf.

i've given it a few more listens. while it's not as good as the first, it's grown on me quite a bit. i actually looked forward to poppin that sob in the player this morning on the way to the shop.

Yeah if you've been holding your breath, waiting for The Cars to put out some new material, this will do just fine.

Actually though, I'm also starting to warm up to it on the 3rd listen.

Pulled this out of the cd collection again today and listened to it. This cd is solid. It doesn't have the big in your face "hits" like "Hot Fuss" but it's still a very good cd.

yeah, b/c they spend too much time worrying about those things. (except the vegas part, i just hate bands from there). but then again, it is all about the packaging these days.
and let me just say right now, yes, i am a music nazi. if half your fanbase is a bunch of 15 year old tools shopping at the mall, then chances are you're not much of a talent.
