I swear, we may need to sticky this. There is no way somebody from WVa should be winning a popularity contest - Steve Slaton has 9K (yep, THOUSAND) more votes (currently) than AD.

I know Garrett Wolfe is having a wonderful season but he shouldn't be receiving more votes than Adrian Peterson. Wolfe doesn't have Adrian's talent and plays in a weaker conference. I'll say the same thing about Garrett Wolfe that I said about Reggie Bush, he would start for any team in the country except for Oklahoma.

New guy here, but thought I'd point out that these guys that magically got a crapload of votes are getting them due to savvy voters using ip masking programs like Hide IP Platinum or public proxy servers and clearing their cookies in between multiple votes. Those on dial up connections are probably just clearing their cookies and reconnecting.

Not that I'd advocate US doing something like that! :D

Look guys, keep your cookies on cleared and you can vote as much as you want...go to tools>options>cookies and keep them cleared...erase the end and hit enter...vote again...and repeat!

I put in over 20+ votes by doing this!!!

The cookie only theory appears to work...

Until you pay attention. I voted several times in a row and the vote tally remained the same. Seems to be a combination of BOTH cookie and IP addy as far as I can tell.

Didn't work for me. But it did manage to screw up my cookies . . . so that's a plus.

Well it looked like it worked for me, It may be others voting rapidly, but I seen the post count jump tremendously when it was at a slow pace before. Oh well...GO AD!!!!

It works just fine, it just takes a little time to update. So keep on voting cause we are getting slaughtered.
