Do you think we should have a ring of honor, similiar to the Dallas Cowboys? I see that Florida has one and was curious what some of you thought.

If so, who would be OUr first one up? Think my vote would go to Bud.

I'd say Bud, Bennie and then perhaps Bob Kalsu, then the next year go with the Heisman winners.

Who was the former Sooner that drowned trying to save somebody?

I would love to see it. I am afraid it would fill up so soon that there would be no room left by the end of the first season. Just think of all the all-Americans that have played for OU. All the great coaches and even the players as mentioned above who were off field heros as well.

We don't have enough room for a ring of honor. Too many to honor, kinda like retiring numbers we would be out of numbers.

We already have one - it's called Heisman Park.

I'd rather not see it. Unlike Florida with only one NC, OU has too great a history and too many to honor.

Agreed. Curse the thought, but OU is like Notre Dame in understating our great players of the past...which says more than any ring of honor or retired numbers could do.

Exactly.
