That tends to happen when you abscond with their kids, force them to go to a religious school, ban speaking native languages in a group that has relied primarily on oral history, banned practice of the native religion, and have implemented various other methods of cultural genocide.

But hey, the last period of serious Christian aggression towards non-Christians OBVIOUSLY was in the Middle Ages, right?
