I heard on the radio that this guy had died but the whole story comes out now.

Leroux said she wished the other Paul Vance had never spoken up.

"It's such a long time ago. To have it come out now, I'm kind of devastated," she said. "If this man is getting the royalties why wouldn't he be happy? The more you stir this up the more you'll smell. Paul can't hurt him now — he's dead. And we're not going after him for the royalties."
This woman sounds like an idiot. She's actually slamming the REAL Paul Vance for not ignoring the fact that her husband was claiming credit for something he didn't do. Wouldn't you say something to the press if the whole world thought you were dead but you weren't?

I'm struggling with this... the REAL Paul Vance is 76. That means some dude my dad's age wrote that notoriously aweful song.

Then again, some dude roughly the age of my daughter's dad wrote Every Rose Has Its Thorns.
