If there was a change in the law whereby you could take a public caning as opposed to some monetary fine for a misdemeanor, would you take the caning?

Like you go to the judge for your 11 miles over the speed limit ticket. You don't have, or want to pay, the cash fine, would you opt for a caning on like a Caning TV thing?

I'd agree to the caning, but only if they also make a good caning an acceptable punishment for violation of the Being Bloody Stupid Act of 1581.
