I thought it might be interesting to see what everybody might be doing instead of watching the Sooners play like:
1. Watch every other football game.
2. Mow the lawn
3. Visit family
4. Finish that summer project
5. Work on those honey-doos

Just curious.

I have a cousin who was thoughtful enough to wait for a bye week to get married. So, I'll be attending a wedding, and watching as much football as possible.

Saturday morning get up and take the boys dove hunting. Watch 11-yr old son and his KYF Cowboys dismantle the KYF Redskins to run their record to 4-0 for the year. (Cowboys have given up 4-1st downs in 3-games). Watch football during the day and return to the dove fields in the late afternoon. Then at 7:00, watch the Katy Tigers roll to 4-0 against Alief Taylor.

Life is very good just now.

that made me laugh.......I'll never do it (unless I tragically find myself single), but I gotta ask: tell me about the Gameday drinkin' game. Maybe I can vicariously enjoy it...:texan:

Watch 9 yr. old nephew play football Sat. morning....mebbe hit Casa Viva.....drive old Rt. 66 back home....night football.

Go to the Tulsa State Fair, eat Bratwursts, eat corndogs, eat Indian Tacos, maybe buy some illegal weapons, watch any decent non-OU football games.

I'll be working in the archery department at Bass Pro Shops. :(

Friday scout a couple of more of my leases for deer and mark a few trails to my stands.

Sat. Scout some public land by my house for deer.

It's still warm enough to BBQ, so Ima fire up the grill Saturday afternoon. Ribs and chicken.

Probably clean the house in the am.

prolly make some chile verde at a buddy's house in the mountains and drink some beer. watch the games, but mostly hang out.

since he got married, i don't see him that much anymore.

I'm going to count the number of horns who have their head in the sand believing they have a chance against OU this year. Mack Brown is head-in-the-sand contendor #1.

The truth hurts. We suck. I predict losses to both OU and A&M. Mack Brown will finally be exposed -- Vince Young won the national title, not Mack Doofus Brown. Stoops is a fantastic coach. If only Texas had a coach like Stoops.
