I hear he's available to get @$$ raped by the ***** this week. I don't normally care about them, but I would like to see that happen. Rhett gets pwned or he makes ***** look stupid.

and just for informational purposes only:
Sam Houston State coach Todd Whitten said Tuesday that the school has not heard from the NCAA about quarterback Rhett Bomar's eligibility.

Because his appeal is pending, the former Oklahoma quarterback is not allowed to dress out or travel with the Bearkats. That means he won't be in Austin for Saturday's game against seventh-ranked Texas.

Bomar was dismissed from the Sooners football team along with offensive lineman J.D. Quinn in early August for accepting money from a Norman car dealership for work they did not perform.

Bomar was declared ineligible by the Sooners, which means he cannot play until his appeal is reviewed by the NCAA. By transferring to a Division I-AA school, Bomar could be eligible to play immediately once his eligibility is restored by the NCAA.

He may face additional penalty for violating the NCAA's extra-benefits clause.

"I just don't have any idea, really," Whitten said when asked if he expects Bomar to play this season. "This is something I've never been through. Just like I told Rhett, we're just going to take it one day at a time, one week at a time. We have great faith in the NCAA and the decisions they make. They are going to do what's right for everybody. I haven't a clue. I assume they'll let us know when it's right."

curious...I did some digging on Rawls.

As you may know, he went to AFL2...made it through one year as a back up, was given mucho props by the team for sticking it out and working hard...then the report for their first game this year had this
