Do tires keep their tread longer in places where it is cold. Someone here at work put some new tires on their car and it got me to thinking.

Ummm when I used to ride my bike (pedal-type then) on ice in Idaho, it wore my tires out fassssst. So based on that little experiment I'd say no, not necessarily.
