Apparently ESPN (brought to you by Nissan) has a vote for the Heisman and they're selling it to the highest bidder. AD is currently in the lead, but it's close.

If I had to pick right now (and I realize we're just starting the season), and in no particular order:

AD
Steve Slaton
Calvin Johnson
Garrett Wolfe

and a pick two between Ginn/Smith/Quinn

AD at 25%,
Calvin Johnson (WR, GaTech) at 21%.

How does Booty make this list?

Uh...he's the QB for a school whose past two QB's were heisman winners and it's not a big stretch to think he won't be in that league.

BTW - note that we can vote once a week. Maybe this can be a sticky or something to remind everyone to vote every week.

I second that, PSG. If they don't make this a sticky, let's just remember to repost it.

That would be cool. I have several things I'm voting on right now and can't always remember all of them.

btw, how long do I have to be a member of the boards to post a new thread? I would like to post a new thread to vote for our mascot.

They moved the number of posts that you need to post a new thread up so that there wouldn't be spammers and other noobs posting already talked about subjects. If you use the search feature, you will find almost everything you need.

I voted yesterday. I tried to get on today to check the standings and the site won't let me because I already voted this week.

All of a sudden Slayton went up a lot of votes very quickly. Sounds like somebody has too much time on their hands...

(most people in West Virginia do, considering they have enough time to impregnante their own sisters)
