...built by THE ohio state university? Apparently Gameday is going to be in Iowa City for the game between the Hawkeyes and Buckeyes. That means through the first five weeks of the season, they will have been at three tOSU matchups. I know it matters for nothing (except giving Herbie another chance to inflate Troy Smith's Heisman chances), but I don't recall them ever attending a team's games more than two or three times an entire season (four at the most?). Just seems like Buckeye overload. Did we get so much love when we were No. 1?

This whole ABC primetime game thing has really put a crimp in Gameday's ability to go to the 'best' game of the day. 3/5 to a tOSU game is a little much. At least only one has been in Columbus.

Gameday was with OU something like 5 times out of 13 weekends back in 2000 and 2001.

Yeah. The main problem is that Herbstreit does Gameday and the 7 p.m. game. So if they're not at a primetime game (like last weekend), it has to be pretty close.

Well, it is one of the last good chances for tosu to lose until Michigan, which Im sure is already on the schedule for gameday. And they have a short history of doing all they can do to push their choice for Heisman down everyone's throat.

You're right, I spoke before I did any research (tsk, tsk). According to Wikipedia, they were at five of our games in 2000, and since then have not been to any more than three of a school's games in one season. Gameday attended also attended three OU games in 2001 and 2003.
