Well, I like the new cans cause they hold more beer (16 Oz./12 Oz.) but they must use alot more aluminum to make them.

Why in god's name would someone drink out of an aluminum can if they didn' have to? It makes the beer taste funny.

Well, except Guinness. I don't know what they do to their cans, but it doesn't make things taste funny.

Norm, They were selling them up and down Campus Corner Saturday and I don't think they were selling any beer in glass bottles then.

I'm just wondering why there is demand enough for these things that they make them. I always try to drink from a bottle when possible.

Do they make beer taste funky like regular cans do?

I didn't really taste anything funny other the beery goodness but I was kind of hot and thirsty so that may have influenced my taste buds....;)

If your beer is getting hot in the glass bottles, you're not drinking it right.

At public venues where glass containers are not allowed. Broken glass everywhere can be a huge pain to clean up.

I have not personally noticed they stay colder longer.

Plus, it wieghs on my conscience more when I toss one out my window while Im driving, knowing it contains 3x more aluminum, and should really be recycled.

And before you get on me for throwing beer cans out my vehicle window, I ALWAYS make sure it is in one of those zones that gets picked up by the local boy scout troop or something... :D

you never noticed it because beer doesn't get warm in 30 seconds.

I have a theory that you cant drink 8 beers, 3 screwdrivers, a cosmopolitan, 5 shots of tequila and 2 glasses of wine, without being sick.

That should be the first theory you test.

Like this is a bad thing?

Besides, it means you have to watch the bar girl take a little bit longer to pop the top off, and ain't nothin' wrong with that... :D
