Is he injured or what? I was watching the Bears game off and on, and never heard them call him out.

Better go look for the Dammit Rhino thread...

He got hurt a while back and then got buried on the depth chart. While he was out Bernard Berrian had some good outings and now starts ahead of him at the slot. Generally they've been playing 3 WRs: Berrian, Mushin Muhammad and Rashied Davis.

Ahhh, the infamous Mark Bradley that started the Orange Bowl collapse by trying to be a hero and pick up a bumbling ball at the 3 yard line. I could live without ever hearing about him again.

The play that I will always remember Mark for his the one where he tipped it to himself and took it for a touchdown.

I guess that makes me a Nazi and a Republican, but I thought it was a defining play. If you can only remember the negative plays that is your problem.

I haven't negged you yet but your request is tempting.

Dude, you trashed a former player, a former walk-on turned NFL'er. Have some respect.

The only thing disturbing is the fact that you give a **** about neg reps.

I don't deny those contributions, but let's go back in time. What was Mark Bradley's mindset as that ball was rolling around on the ground.

He had to known where he was on the field, he obviously saw the proximity of the trojan players.............yet some deep down psychological glory hound instinct kicked in and overshadowed all the training he received during practice. I am not bashing him, but I can't forgive him for that bonehead play.

It wasn't the play bashing, it was the former player bashing based on one play out of his career. That'll always gain a batch of neg, and as was pointed out the mods don't tend to suffer fools... which is why I don't post much. ;)

Bradley's are two of my favorite all time Sooners, and Mark was the best gunner we've seen in a good while besides being a fast, savvy receiver.

Let it go, dude. It was over a year ago. People are jumping on you because you are trying to make one play completely negate two seasons of great accomplishments from a legacy player. Did it start the downward spiral? Yes. Should the TEAM have been able to get beyond it? Yes. The TEAM didn't. The loss was a TEAM loss. 'Nuff said.

You are only showing your own ignorance if you think can sum up Mark Bradley's OU career by that reference. W/O him the '04 OU offense is not close to the offense that it was and OU doesn't even make the Orange Bowl. He was the difference in many games in his career, specifically against the ags that year when he turned a 15 yard reception into a touchdown as time was running out as well as another game when I remember him taking a reverse for a 40-50 yard score and catching another one or two (can't remember which game that was, maybe OSU that year also.) He made a lot of plays while he was at OU and didn't seem to get the level of respect he deserved. Anyway the point is, yeah that play sucked but letting that define his career in your mind is a shame. Inevitably it is your own opinion so think what you will but I will weigh his career as a whole and in my opinion he is one of my favorite Sooner's of the last 20 years.
