Nobody ahead of us lost, so I wouldn't expect to move up.

On the bright side of things, every other time we've won this season, we dropped. At least we stayed at the same spot this week. They seriously don't know what they're doing.

Why the hell should you move up for beating Middle Tennessee State ?

We are really lucky to even being ranked after losing to Oregon (I know about the calls, but the defense was to blame just as much) and the showing against UAB. Beat Texas and we will move up, don't and we are out of the top 25.

I wouldn't say we're out of the top 25 if we lose to Texas. That would be a dumb move on the part of the pollsters. If we lose but keep it close, we still deserve to be in the top 25. If we go out there and get totally embarassed, then we deserve to drop out. Also, we don't deserve to be dropped for that Oregon game. In all honesty, we won that game and most of the nation knows it. It doesn't matter how we played against Oregon, they were a top 25 team and we played well enough to win.

it's funny that we're ahead of Oregon.

How the heck can SC be #1 and tOSU #2? tOSU is 2-0 vs top 30 teams, and beat texass on the road.

I believe we're ahead of Oregon because we only "lost" by one point which overcomes the home field rating he gives so that's like a win.

Sagarin is usually pretty accurate but it takes about 6 games or so for his ratings to work out.

heh, we "struggle" against UAB in our FIRST game and we drop five spots, beat Washington by 17, drop five more. Georgia has to come from behind in the last minute of the game to beat a winless Colorado at home, they stay put. Florida looks like crap against Kentuck, and again they stay put. USC beats Zona by 17 (Same margin as we beat UW by) and they stay put. Seems that if OU so much as sneezes, we may just drop out of the polls.....
