The message of the film was quite eloquently stated, i.e. everything is for sale, especially our baser desires, and I think that it successfully explored the theme of degredation leading to greater degredation, and the desysthesization of human emotion from excess - to connect with our own human emotions, one must delve farther and farther from human behavior in the face of constant excess.

While the plotline was clunky and the acting acceptable at best and outright laughable at points, I think that the movie rasies some intersting questions - Where exactly does the line of morality fall, and is it transitory? Does simply being exposed to violence change the line, or must actions force it to be crossed?

Must people are probably put off by the graphic violence, but you should have known what you were getting into BEFORE you out it in the old DVD player...
