What are the chances and just how much will the price drop? My wife works near an area where it is $2.05. Anyone else seeing it cheaper?

drudge ran an article yesterday that said it is likely to drop another 25 cents.
while gas prices traditionally usually drop off a little after summer, if the 25 cent thing is true that will mean in the 9 week runup to the middle of november gas prices will have dropped $1.00 at the pump.

It's still $2.20-$2.25 depending on where you go around Birmingham, but it was $2.99 not even a month ago...

It's difficult to look at average gas prices around the country because gasoline taxes vary wildly from state-to-state. For example, Oklahoma gas will nearly always be several cents/gallon cheaper than in Texas because of Texas' higher gasoline tax.

It used to be 10-15 cents/gallon cheaper around here than in Dallas, but now it's only a few cents cheaper or even more expensive sometimes.

There are at least two places in OKC with $1.99.
Yup - dropped from $2.03 last night to $1.99 this morning at the 7-11 at 39th and Ann Arbor.

You must be going to the wrong place. Mrs SB just called me and she just filled up at the west side Wal Mart in Norman for $1.99/gallon.
