Were the horse-pigs in Eugene? With all of the blown replay crap we've gotten away from the real injustice that has been visited upon OU football not just this season, but last.

I firmly believe that the emergence of the horse-pigs is responsible for all of the bad karma OU football and OU hoops has endured during the past calendar year. Unfortunately, I think that as long as those abominable red-mullet-sporting furbags are roaming the sidelines, the Sooners will be subjected to more of the same.

Yep, they were there

Well, there you go. Problem solved. They are the source of all that is evil.

3 years (Pre-HorsePigs): 35-5

1.2 years (HorsePigs): 10-5

There it is people. In black and white. Well, black and sort of a very light gray, but you get my drift.

I got an email earlier in the week from the alum asso. announcing that I could go vote for the mascots at capitalonebowl.com

When are they going to get rid of them? Seriously? At least get them slimmed down and get rid of the mullets! :D

they aren't horse pigs anymore, so we need a new name...

They've already modified them, meaning we'll have another good couple years of them at least.

What I don't understand is how it took their task force something like 3 years to come up with the horsepigs. I didn't notice a lot of pot smoking around OU when I was there, but maybe I was just in the wrong areas.

Drunk Duck fans next to me: "What is that, a mule?"

They have a camel's nose. Horses have round nose holes. Camels have noses that are slitty so they can close out sand. Freaking Camel Noes.

one of those abominations now waves the huge OU flag instead of a Rufnek.

When a hippie fan at the game takes time-out from blowing on his duck call to make fun of your mascot...it's time to rethink what the hell you're doing.

disgraceful....

Seriously, since OUr team is the Sooners, shouldn't our mascot be a sooner and not an improbable mix of camels, pigs, horses, llamas and mules?

Obviously I wasn't there, but I'd be willin' to bet a good chunk that no sooner ever road an abomination like that out to stake his claim, nor would he have used one to prove up his land after all the quitters gave up and moved on to Oregon.

Just sayin'.. ;)

My two cents:

The original horsepigs looked goofy.

The new, improved  horsepigs look psychopathic. That capitalone video gave me nightmares for a week.

PS. Like psychopaths with mullets.
