A guy just came into my office and said that the landing of the space shuttle had to be cancelled due to the sighting of a UFO. Anyone else heard about this?

Assuming your buddy isn't just having some fun with you...
Bad weather plus concern about a small object seen floating out of the cargo bay. They need to see if they lost anything critical. Plus the weather at the landing site is crappy.

Seems the news reports are not calling it a UFO. Just what he said he heard it on the radio.

Technically, I think you could call it a UFO at this point.

what? was that shuttle raised in a barn!? :O
It is just probably the astronauts screwing around to buy another day in space. Would you want to go home to a nagging wife after one of the most ultimate experiences?

Conclusive video evidence that the shuttle touched the debris first, not the other way around.

In other news, the "Space Shuttle EXCITEMENT!!!" should be the name of the first ship in the fleet after space tourism becomes routine and Disney takes over NASA.

Wow, speaking of dork thread!
Yeah, my first inclination was "cables", but I thought to myself... "Why would a spaceship have power cables just inside the skin of the ship?

Dude, it's a spaceship. They don't have cable. They have satellite.
DirecTV is the official satellite provider for Starfleet.
