I have not seen a thread about AD and why he was returning kicks? It does not seem no where near needed with the performance of Smith. Why would we do that?

To enhance his chances of winning the Heisman, ala Reggie Bush.

Agreed. AD wanted to return kicks. Hey unless he's hurt doing it why not? His total yards will be huge by the end of the year. Although I really like what I've seen of Reggie and Juan so far.

I just seems Heisman or not he is already doing well in that department. Taking chances away from someone who is averaging 40ypr seems like a bad idea.

If we are going to have AD return kicks, then Allen Patrick is going to have to play a lot more on offense. AD can't physically hold up with all the snaps that he's already taking on offense (many of which involve physically punishing runs) and running back kicks on top of it.
