...it was a horrible, horrible call and the worst blow call in Sooner history that cost OU the game...

How sad is it that the worst blown call of OU's history came in the era of instant replay?

I'm sorry, I still say OU-texas 84 is the worst. Stanberry was in by a yard or more.

I'd give input on this, but I wasn't around yet

Deano said he was 90% sure the refs blew the call.

I find it amazing that the nationwide media is crying "foul" and the Oregonian did not mention the questionable call at all in their gameday story :D

excuse me.......but don't we think he's an idiot?

I could have sworn we don't agree with him on anything.

Doug Flutie seemed pretty resolute about it last night too. I was at the game, and two separate Texas fans texted me to say the call was crap. Taken as a whole, that's ironclad. :D

The Oregonian did, however, have a columnist who wrote about how the game was stolen from us. My dad brought the paper with him on the way back. I thought that was very classy coming from a sports writer in the middle of Oregon territory

I have had Texas fans tell me we were screwed big time, what more evidence do you need....

Sorry to see the bad calls. I was really pulling for you guys. Hopefully we will get them back for you. I know how you feel. The Seahawks had the same thing happen in the Super Bowl.

Sincerely,

A husky fan that made the trip to Norman.

Keep in mind, that there are two Pac10 teams in Oregon. The columnist could be a heavy Oregon State Beaver fan.

I have to say, you guys know how to welcome people to Norman. We had a blast. Not a single heckler the whole time. Just people buying us beer and deserts.

Looks like Ivan Maisel and the people at ESPN agree as well:

I was going to put this in a new thread, but I still can't post new ones for some reason. :\ Anyways, now all we can do is wait, I guess.
