Peterson came out with guns blazing in the second half yesterday and by himself pwn'd the Oregon D, proving that he deserves to be the front runner, and anyone who watches game highlights of this video has to agree.

The WV player, Slaton I believe is his name, is making a case for himself, and if his team goes undefeated he could make a push for it.

And finally, there is Troy Smith, tOSU is always going to be in the lime-light Troy Smith is making a good case for himself as the Heisman winner as well, with that said

Adrian Peterson has been the most valuable player for his team. He is more valuable to OU than Slaton is to WV and Smith is to tOSU. Peterson players stellar and makes the biggest difference for his team, and that IMO earns him the Heisman.

AD is simply the best PLAYER in the country. Alot of people say he really hurt his chances when OU lost, but keep in mind the guy had over 200 rushing yards. What do people expect him to do, play defense???

I keep in mind that he utterly embarrassed a top 25 team's defense in the second half. It took Oregon 4 players to take down AD every play in the 2nd half. He was an absolute beast and proved why he deserves to be the front runner
