I just discovered the worst movie ever

on the sci fi channel right now. supposedly it's called "The Lost Empire" but tvguide calles it "The Monkey King." it stars Bai Ling and the dude from Dharma and Greg.


American journalist Nick Orton is caught up in the world of Chinese gods and monsters while on a search for the long lost manuscript to 'Hsi Yu Chi' (The Journey to the West) by Wu Ch'eng En. He is accompanied on his journey by a humanoid ape with incredible strength and magical powers, a humanoid pig-man, and his brother-in-arms, an ex-cannibal. Based on one of the greatest stories in Chinese history.

You ever here Duvall mention that flick in any of his interviews about his work? I didn't think so. Even the great ones occasionally get lured into making a stinkeroo and that one is one of the all time stinkers.

NIght of the Lepus is incredible. it's also the movie on the TV when Neo goes to visit the Oracle in Matrix one. and features Forrest DeKelly.
