especially when the other party moves on WAY TOO quickly, as in sets up an arranged marriage less than 2 weeks after the breakup.

Sounds like a good breakup to me.... an arranged marriage 2 weeks after a relationship means that this guy has no clue what he wants.

I will agree. Breakups are the suck.....especially when she cheats on you, moves on with the other dude, then when youre finally over it and dating someone 100X better, calls you up and tells you that she loves you and wants you back...

But depend on it, dearie, when he's all alone he'll be thinking of the great American prize, all free and liberated and stuff, that he threw away (that would be you), and he'll wonder if maybe he has it ALL wrong after all.

yeah, he obviously wants someone to take care of him and do everything for him, but someone who will also "mind" him. and he'll marry the first one that says 'yes' apparently.

the whole idea of arranged marriages just boggles my mind completely.

Breakups like this suck only in that he has found "his" before she found "hers". However, "his" hardly counts in that his mommy and daddy had to find her for him. TD2k is better off in the long run (as long as she marries an Oklahoman of reasonably good standing).

I had a bad breakup back in college. The girl that I lived with for a year cheated on me during the first month I came back to Oklahoma for the summer. We had seen each other twice during this month, so she really had no excuse except being a bit on the slutty side. She broke up with me and proceeded to tear up the campus. I was feeling very depressed about the whole thing until I heard, she got herpes during this and gave it to several partners. I didn't feel so bad after that, and I dodged a bullet.

A bad relationship is much, much worse than no relationship.

Sorry TD. My impression of him of him was that he didn't treat you very well. I think you can do much better and he is getting the worst of the deal.

Every relationship is a learning experience. You have learned that you can do better.
