The SO shotgun debuted this weekend. Jaux has seen it. His lovely daughter from Denver even took pics, but they were the old-fangled film kind. After they're developed, Jauxie is gonna scan 'em and post 'em.

Just keeping you in the loop.

Drawing at the Taco Tech Tailgate (Nov 11.) We are gonna work hard to ensure delivery (ready to hang on the wall or wrap and put under the tree) by the lucky winnah in time for Christmas.

and before anyone asks . . . again, you need not be present to win -- but if you do not move heaven & earth to make it to the last regular season home game and the grudge-f******g of Taco Tech which shall surely ensue, turn in your Okie card.

BTW, who ever is in charge of catering the tailgate...we gotta have tacos for that game. And cerveza.

actually, as much as i'd love to have it.....my great uncle (deceased) was a ruf-nek in the 50's, id most likely give it to his son...

he was the president of the OU Alum association in New Mexico - died of throat cancer when i was a teen.....his son is really close to my Dad - he's just crazy cousin Marty to me, but all VERY big OU fans......when Uncle Martin was near death, they got a team auto'd ball and gave it to him

It will be decided by a drawing. All the contributors names go in a fishbowl at the taco tech tailgate. We'll find a trustworthy soul (prolly have to be someone who doesn't post here -- like a little kid) and a name will be drawn. That person wins and we get their mailing address, provide it to the Ruf Neks and they arrange shipping direct from them.

We'll prolly also draw a runner-up in case the winnah gets horribly killed in a fiery car crash or gets struck by lightning or something before s/he takes delivery.

as a RUF/NEK alumni, thank you for contributing to the club. it's always tough to raise money - partly because we have no national charter like fraternities, partly because of some perceptions/reputations/notoriety associated with the NEKS.

the funds will be well spent (aside from the occassional keg) - helping the guys travel to away games.
